Trumpet Blossom Cafe

Everything here is vegan. Not plant-forward; no animal products at all. Katy Meyer opened Trumpet Blossom in April 2012 inside the former Hideaway, carrying forward some of that room's character. The name came from trumpet vines in the courtyard of the Red Avocado, where she once worked. Her Tempeh Reuben dates to the first year. The stage is not a sideline. The calendar regularly mixes local and touring music, often around a ten-dollar ticket, with all-ages, student-price, and pay-what-you-can nights alongside occasional age-restricted shows. The kitchen and full bar make dinner and a band one trip rather than two. Check the event listing before going; price and age policy vary by show.
