M.C. Ginsberg Objects of Art

Isadore Ginsberg opened the family business in Cedar Rapids in 1926, and his three sons — Herman, Louis and Stanley — grew it to five locations. Mark Ginsberg took the Iowa City store in the mid-1980s, after his father's death, and renamed it Objects of Art late that decade. He founded the Iowa City Jazz Festival and produced it through 1997. His test for an object, in his own words: "If it doesn't last more than a lifetime, it's not worth it." Ask for Lizzie Ginsberg O'Neill, who runs operations: a degree in 3D design, years teaching art in eastern Iowa schools, back here since 2017. The 3D printing here now runs to medical prototypes as well as jewelry. Asking what is in stock is asking for the thing that went to auction.
